The Power of One
You have more power to influence your world than you may know. Your decision to be optimistic…generous…forgiving…. to act with purpose affects not only you, but everyone with whom you come in contact. This month we will explore how you can use your power to influence your friends and family for Christ.
Mar. 7 – The Power of Optimism
Mar. 14 – The Power of Generosity (I Timothy 6:17-19)
Mar. 21 – The Power of Forgiveness (Luke 23:33-38)
Mar. 28 – The Power of Purpose (Luke 9: 51-62)
Welcome to our New Staff
The Board of Ministries, along with the Music/Drama Committee, is pleased to introduce two new members to the EFB Staff:
Barb Syrell joins us as our Minister of Music. You may recognize her from a couple of years ago, as she served in the capacity of Director of Music here at EFB. Barb is married (husband Tom!) and has two grown daughters and two grandchildren. She holds a BA in Music from SUNY Oswego, with 20+ years as a choir director. Barb is the Founder and Director of the newly-formed “New Horizons of the Southern Tier” – a program of music education for people over age 50. She is so very pleased to be back at Endicott First Baptist Church!
Levi Owens joins us as our Sunday morning Praise Team Leader. Levi hails from Burlington Flats, New
York, and is currently a junior at Davis College, where he is studying Creative Arts in Worship. One of Levi’s favorite recreational activities is taking long walks on the beach!
Welcome, Barb and Levi, to the First Baptist Endicott family!
