At its December 2nd meeting, the ABC/NYS Board of Mission approved the formation of a separate corporation to operate Pathfinder and Camp Vick, continuing and further enhancing the long tradition of excellent Christian camping at both camps. The new corporation will be called “Vick and Pathfinder Camps and Conference Ministries, Inc.,” shortened to VP Ministries for simplicity. I’m excited to have served on the Transition Team that worked to prepare the groundwork for VP Ministries, and to serve on its first Board of Directors.

Your prayers and financial support for this ministry are especially crucial at this time of change and development. We anticipatea seamless transition as we partner with ABC/NYS to bring the new ministry to fruition. Campers and parents will not see a difference in the camping season or program.

Schedules and brochures will arrive early in 2012, costs will remain the same this year, and as always we need campers, counselors and volunteers! Contributions to the camping ministry should continue to be sent to ABC/NYS (marked for camping) until VP Ministries is able to receive contributions directly.
